Start where you are.
AI for people who don't have time for AI hype. The AI Playground is a quarterly workshop for nonprofit leaders. No jargon. No vendor pitch. Just: here's what these tools actually do, here's where they help, here's where they waste your time.
AI Playground
I facilitate this workshop quarterly through the Community Foundation for Greater New Haven. It's built for leaders who know AI matters but don't have the time, budget, or in-house expertise to chase it — and who are (rightly) wary of the hype.
I run this through Carnelian, the digital practice I built for nonprofits. I also handle comms and IT for Elm Shakespeare Company. So the advice comes from inside your constraints — budgets, small teams, mission-first thinking — not from someone trying to sell you something.
No jargon wall. Just a clear-eyed look at where these tools help your work, and how to build that capability without depending on anyone else to keep it running.
